NATG 2017 day 17: Luna and her Shadow

"Draw a villainous pony / Draw a misunderstood pony."

Most of Ponyville's residents don't know what to make of Luna. The young psychologist certainly has the presence and charm of her older sister, the project administrator Celestia. At least, when she chooses to speak. Mostly she avoids other people, and she always seems to have a sense of guilt and worry about her.

Some say that the night of the solstice incident, when the Everfree Forest first seemed to "wake up", they saw Luna flying into the forest, wreathed in dark fire, carrying her unconscious sister with her. She didn't have any of that when the security forces brought the sisters, the newcomer Twilight, and her friends out of the forest the next morning. She seemed beat up and tired, but not the glowing evil figure they said she'd become.

Nevertheless, you don't often see Luna. Unless she decides to see you, and ask questions about vivid dreams you'd had the night before. And sometimes you saw her in your dreams...
